Oh, summer. How do I love thee?! Our annual roadtrip to Montana is always my favorite week of August. This year was extra perfect, with blazing 90-degree days and periodic jumps into the pond to cool down, a vigorous hike into the Bitterroots and a swim in a chilly mountain stream, a ton of delicious food and movie nights on the couch. Also noteworthy: I conquered my not-so-small fear of heights and ladders by actually riding the zipline - twice! (We'll just pretend I didn't have near-nightmares about it afterward.)
